Rosé's first single album -R- is taken from the first letter of Rosé's name, meaning 'the first start as a solo artist'.

The title song 'On The Ground' is a song created by 24 collaboration with talented foreign producers such as Jorgen Odegard and Ojivolta, and The Black Label's representative producer TEDDY. Combined with the mysterious sound of tension and Rosé's unique vocal that flows smoothly, it provides a new pleasure that you have never felt before. The lyrics that I have always run while looking at a higher place, but the most important value is within me, makes us realize once again what we have been missing in this era. It is hoped that Rosé will be able to share the message she wants to convey in her first single album through a more mature image like a movie, a sweet and delicate but at the same time powerful and wild charm of Rosé's vocals, and a resonant song.
